Zärtlich therefore is an armoury including weapons that nurture these qualities, and are to be used as part of an offensive emotional self defence strategy - weapons, in this case, meaning tools to level power dynamics. The plant kingdom uses spikes as a silent offensive defence strategy. They shift the responsibility of teaching how to care from the attacked to the attacker, to redistribute the cargo of care.
